Classic pesto made with pine nuts, olive oil, garlic, basil, parmesan and lemon – is there anything better? In my opinion, homemade is usually better than store-bought, and with only 6 ingredients (most of which can usually be found in my pantry), this really is one of the easiest things to make!
This lovely sauce can be used on pizzas, pastas, grilled meats, salads, and crusty loaves of bread. When I have extra basil on hand, I’ll make a little jar of this and keep it for paninis and pastas. It’s a great time saver for those busy nights!
